Plain-language summary
We collect only what makes lunch happen: your email, your Calling Card, a coarse lunch area — never your exact location, never your real photo unless you're Omega-revealed.

Your email (sign-in), your Calling Card (name, bio, interests, work/lifestyle answers), a coarse lunch zone (never precise GPS or street address), and — only if you tell us — your gender and who you'd like to be matched with.
We turn your photo into a dot-cell portrait (never your face, publicly) before anyone else sees it. The original photo is stored privately and only shown to Omega members you've matched with, if you've enabled that.
- To match you with people worth having lunch with.
- To keep the app safe (reports, blocks, moderation).
- To improve the product (aggregated, privacy-respecting analytics).
- To bill Omega subscriptions and Lunch Credits through Apple/Google/RevenueCat — we never see your card number.
Gender and dating preference are sensitive information under Australia's Privacy Act (APP 3). We only collect them with your explicit, separate consent, only to power matching, and never show them on your public profile.
Coarse only. We know roughly which part of the city you're free in — never your exact address, never your live location, never shared with other members precisely.
Service providers who run the app for us: our hosting/database provider, our email sender (Resend), our payments processor (RevenueCat/Apple/Google), our crash and analytics tools (Sentry, PostHog). We never sell your data.
While your account is active, plus a short window after deletion to prevent abuse (fraud/safety records), then it's gone.

- Correct it — edit your Calling Card any time.
- Delete it — Settings → Delete Account removes your data (safety records may be retained briefly as above).
- Withdraw consent — turn off sensitive-data matching or cookie tracking any time.
If we ever have a data breach that could seriously harm you, we'll notify the OAIC and affected members as required by Australian law.
